SEGRA (Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia) Foundation held the annual National Regional and Economic Development Summit in Busselton, WA 29-31 October 2024. The theme was Beyond Boundaries: Fostering Connection, Partnership, and Collaboration for Regional Growth.
Held on Wagandi Country, the 27th annual summit was a great opportunity to showcase the city of Busselton, renowned for its tourism offerings, premium agricultural produce and diverse industries, serving as the perfect backdrop for discussions on sustainable regional and economic development.
The main objective of the Summit is to drive positive change in rural Australia by empowering individuals with knowledge, ideas, and valuable connections, providing an opportunity to highlight the strengths of rural, remote, and regional communities.
SEGRA and Regional Development Australia (RDA) South West partnered to deliver the event to effect positive change in regional Australia by empowering attendees with the knowledge, ideas and networks to grow their communities – through connection, partnerships and collaboration.
