The CRCNA’s remit to deliver research and development across Northern Australia comes to an end in 2027. All our funds are now committed and the remaining projects are underway.

We understand the vital role R&D plays in achieving sustainable and inclusive economic and social outcomes – especially for Northern Australia where development is a bit more unique and innovative.

A 10-year remit was never going to be enough to make long-term, generational progress!

So, the CRCNA board and executive have been working hard behind the scenes…

To maintain momentum and build on the CRCNA’s achievements, expertise and networks, we’re working to establish the Centre for Developing Northern Australia (CDNA).

The CDNA will strengthen our collective efforts through research, development and extension to help maximise the north’s economic potential, whilst supporting social wellbeing.

The CDNA, like the CRCNA, remains in Northern Australia with a dedicated team of Northern Australian’s working in the best interests for the north.
