Tahna has over 25 years’ experience working with people within the agricultural sector. She is a fourth-generation farmer, who joined the CRCNA in 2026, prior to this Tahna worked with the NT Farmers Association, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet in the National Recovery and Resilience Agency. Tahna has also worked as a Farm Liaison Officer for the whole of Queensland housed in the Rural Financial Counselling Service and did over 11 years with the broadacre industry group with AgForce Queensland. Tahna and her husband, own and operate a farm situated in the Mareeba Shire (QLD). ‘Stockade Farm’ is a mixed operation including a pastured raised free range egg business. Tahna’s ethos has always been, ‘let’s leave this bit of land in a better shape than when we purchased it, sustainable is just status quo, we want to do better than that’.
